Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year!

We are off to a wonderful new year!  Keep Calm and Have Faith is our school wide theme.  Tomorrow, Friday, August 16th, we will have Spirit and Service Friday.  Students may wear their gym uniform or a Holy Spirit t shirt with HS gym shorts.  We will be working on spreading mulch on the playground and cleaning our campus.  Classes will participate in a Retreat Day as well.

The Annual Fund Dinner is on Thursday, May 9th from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.  Please join us for an evening of friendship, good food and a theatre event performed by our middle school students.  You can contact the school office for an invitation.  

We have tables for eight or ten.  You also can be seated and a table with parish and school families. 

The Annual Fund Dinner honors Larry Halbig and Kathleen Fleming.  Larry and Kathleen are long time parishioners who have dedicated their life to Holy Spirit Parish community and Catholic Education.

St. Joseph Dinner for the 8th grade class

Good Evening,

We celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph this week with the 8th grade class.  8th grade students will attend Mass at 5:30 pm with their fathers.  After Mass, the 8th grade students and their fathers will enjoy a dinner prepared by the moms in the Gym, Early Hall.  Thanks to all our mothers who helped with this event!

Student Led Conferences This Wednesday

This is a reminder that student led conferences are this Wednesday, March 13th.  Please make sure you sign up at www.signupgenius.com

Students in grades 2-8 will be a student led and k-1 a parent and teacher conference.

Spring Break begins on Thursday, March 14th at noon.

Please be safe and attend Mass on Sundays during Break.

2013-2014 new family Open House

New families to Holy Spirit School are invited to Open House. The Open House will be on Sunday, January 27th from 3:00 - 5:00 pm.

Classrooms will be open and teachers available to discuss our programs.  New students are encouraged to shadow if in grades 4-8.

PTO Meeting Tomorrow Tuesday Night 6pm

Good Afternoon!

There is a PTO Meeting Tuesday, Dec. 4th, (tomorrow), at 6pm in the Cafe.  Please join us from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm.  for a conversation with Mrs. Parsons on ALEKS, My Students Progress and much more.

Each student will receive a cookie pass from the Cafe for their parents attending the PTO Meeting.

PTO Meeting next Tuesday, Nov.13th 6pm

Hello,
The PTO meeting will be next Tuesday, Nov. 13th at 6pm in the cafe.  Please join us for a presentation on the new core standards and PARCC test.  We will also give out strategies to help your child at home. There will be a presentation on our overall grade with the state.  We will share 
how the score was calculated.

We will have presentations at future PTO meetings to communicate better with our families.
